Bio

Panacea Wear is a clothing brand that was Founded in 2016 by Takudzwa Mathabire. It started off in Zimbabwe only having urban wear Tshirts and caps as the product range. By 2019 the brand has already made great strides and Takudzwa managed to launch the Brand in Madagascar through the $2000 grant provided for by British Council in partnership with Hivos,Enthuse Afrika and Electric South. In February 2024 the brand was also registered in Botswana and it now offers more than just Tshirts and Caps but also includes Sweaters and sweatpants on its product range. Panacea wear runs a social project at University of Botswana named "3R Project" which focus on creating fashions from recycled materials, this project is doing well with its unique tie and dye Tshirts that most University Students love. Panacea have 10 permanent employees (5 working in Zimbabwe and 5 working in Botswana) and 10 Volunteers who support the 3R Project.
