Brief Profile of The Black Swallow Guesthouse
Introduction
The long-term goal of The Black Swallow Guesthouse (BSG) is to become the accommodation of choice in the East Rand for both temporary and long-term lodging of students and business professionals alike. We aim to create a differentiated experience by capitalizing on our unique location in one of the most attractive parts of Ekurhuleni, with proximity to the Boksburg/Jetpark industrial area and OR Tambo International Airport. We provide a friendly and conducive atmosphere for students to study and for working professional guests to work and/or relax after a busy day. We pride ourselves on always providing a home away from home feeling. Our value is to always be customer-centric, putting the needs of our customers first.
The Company
BSG is a (Pty) Ltd company registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in 2016 under the Companies Act of 2008 in South Africa. It is wholly owned by Dr. Mosebetsi J. Leotlela, who has delegated the authority to run the business to the Office Manager. The Office Manager is always available on the property to ensure that customers are satisfied.
Our Services
BSG has been carefully planned over the years. Ekurhuleni is home to two university campuses: Vaal University of Technology (Vaaltech) and the University of South Africa (UNISA), both of which have experienced significant increases in student enrolment, creating a constant demand for accommodation. Additionally, Ekurhuleni is the fastest-growing Aerotropolis in Gauteng and the only one in the region, attracting many businesspeople, transit tourists, and students throughout the year. BSG consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms, with two dining rooms.
