Why focus on a boy child?
While Zambia has made huge strides in empowering girls and women, boys and young men face unique challenges that are often overlooked.
1.Sucides among young men from 2019-2023 account for 88% of the total 2556.
2.High drop out rates in schools, boys and young men due to child labor.
3.The vulnerability to HIV/AIDS/STIs due to early exposure to illicit behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse.
4.Lack of role models
5.mental health issues and stigma around seeking help.
With all these outlined we endeavor to create a better and sustainable environment for boys.
